This is the Puffer fish. This delightful fish is part of the Tetraodontidae family, and is known for its balloon like shape. The truth about this fish is that when in a relaxed state, it looks like any normal streamlined fish, but when startled this fish inflates itself like a 'balloon'. This is done in hope to appear too big for the predator to consume, however it is not healthy for the fish to do so. The white-spotted puffer is notoriously known for possibly being the second most poisonous vertebrate in the world, and yet even with its extremely deadly qualities, it is seen as a Japanese delicacy. Somehow, I doubt it is a popular order!
